In addition to crop farming, the Ba Ga Maidi Agriculture Initiative also extends to livestock farmers within the community. BBM has engaged with several community members who are raising cattle, goats and sheep as part of their livelihood. These farmers, like their counterparts in crop production, face a critical challenge: limited access to reliable markets. As a result, many are unable to sell their livestock at fair value or generate suûcient income to sustain and grow their operations.
